How to Attach a MYTHOS Charm to Keys, a Bag or a Belt

The charm is the sculptural part of a keychain setup. A separate connector links its integral top eye to your keys, bag or belt attachment. Keeping those two roles clear makes it easier to buy the right pieces and to understand what a styled image is showing.

MYTHOS pendants are sold individually. A short engraving and an IGNIS ARGENTUM gift box are included. The connecting ring, keys, chains, bags and belt fittings shown in styling images are separate. The store’s spring-gate quick-release ring is an optional connector with its own material options and price.

Car keys: keep the setup simple

Use an attachment point designed to carry a key ring. Open the connector, pass it through the pendant’s integral eye and the intended key attachment, then allow it to close fully. Check that the gate is seated and that neither the eye nor the key attachment jams the closure.

The current sterling target is about 30 g for the pendant alone, so the whole set will weigh more once the ring and keys are attached. Avoid adding unnecessary pieces. If your vehicle has an ignition key rather than a separate remote fob, follow its manufacturer’s guidance about attachments and weight on the key.

A bag: choose a reinforced attachment point

A reinforced D-ring or purpose-made attachment loop can make the charm more visible than it is among keys. Before attaching it, inspect the stitching, loop and closure. A decorative zipper pull may move a zipper perfectly well without being intended to carry a swinging metal object.

Check where the charm rests when the bag is set down or worn. Metal can rub against leather, coated fabric and other hardware. Moving the attachment to a different loop can reduce contact with a surface you want to protect.

A belt: use a suitable carrying attachment

For belt carry, use an appropriate belt loop accessory, clip or connector and check that it closes completely. The charm should sit where it does not catch repeatedly as you walk, sit down or get into a car. Avoid loose or damaged loops.

The pendant and optional ring are decorative everyday accessories. They are not load-rated climbing equipment or a restraint. Their role is to carry and display the charm in an ordinary daily setup.

Check fit, not just the outside diameter

A ring’s outside diameter does not by itself establish compatibility. The wire or body thickness must fit through the pendant’s eye, and the gate needs room to open and close. The pendant’s eye and the separate connecting ring are different components, so compare both before assembling a set.

The MYTHOS dimensions on product pages are design estimates. Final clearance and finished weight will be checked on production samples. Styling images show the intended arrangement; they do not replace those physical fit checks.

Decide what to buy

If you already have a compatible connector, choose the pendant alone. If you need a connector, review the separate ring’s material and current price or use the ring option on the MYTHOS product page. It is a separate line item, so the pendant price remains clear.
